Die Pretty’s Sarah Orloff looks a bit like Amy Lee from Evanescence to me. But not only her tattooed arm differs her from the famous frontwoman – her voice is a lot deeper! It might take a while to get used to it, but it matches the sound of Die Pretty perfectly: While starting with the sound of Paramore, they get harder and harder. “Voices” for example is an energy-driven first song off their EP “Battle Over Brooklyn”. “Let Me Out” is a real highlight. The drumbeats by Angelo come on strong and so are the guitars played Skip and Tommy. And Sara herself on the bass is able to do both: Heavy Hardcore and cute Poprock, like in “7th Avenue
